Scholarships in University of Virginia (UVA)

Every year most of the Undergradute student got  scholarship, fellowships and Grant opportunities. University of Virginia offered 9 catagories scholarship. and 3 catagories ROTC Scholarships.

Scholarships are awarded to fall semester applicants only. The majority of scholarships are awarded to freshman applicants. Here are the categories of Scholarship: 

Jefferson Scholarships

Jefferson Scholarship mainly offeres Jefferson Scholars Foundation. This Scholarships are awarded to highly gifted student. Each year approximately 35 students are awarded Jefferson Scholarships, with selection based entirely on merit

General University Scholarships

Student Financial Services offeres this type of Scholarships. Included on the list are need-based grants and fellowships

Center for Undergraduate Excellence

Its offeres 27 different scholarship and fellowship opportunities. This Scholarship is available for student during or after their time at the University.

Study Abroad Scholarships

The International Studies Office (ISO) offers this Study Abroad Scholarships. This program is available during the fall, spring, summer or January term.

Alumni Fund Scholarships

The UVA Alumni Association maintains a list of alumni-funded scholarships available to undergraduate students of all years.

School of Architecture Fellowships

College of Arts and Sciences Scholarships

Curry School of Education Scholarships and Fellowships

The Curry School offers scholarships and fellowships to undergraduate students.

Schools of Nursing Scholarships

The School of Nursing Alumni Association offers this scholarship.

How to apply for Scholarship

To get the Scholarship Freshman applicants need to apply their application on Common Application  to VCU by the Dec 1 scholarship deadline.

For Transfer applicants must submit VCU’s online electronic application by April 1

After submission UVA will review all of the applicant, and will be announce the winner of scholarship.
